Die Backhaus Handtuchklemme ist eine perforierende chirurgische Klemme , mit der Tücher oder OP-Abdeckungen während des Eingriffs auf der Haut des Patienten befestigt werden und so ein steriles und stabiles Operationsfeld gewährleistet wird. Die scharfen, nach innen gebogenen Nadelspitzen durchstechen sowohl Haut als auch Abdeckung und sorgen so für festen Halt ohne Verrutschen.
Ausgestattet mit Ringgriffen und einem Ratschenverriegelungsmechanismus behalten diese Klemmen ihre Position bei, bis sie gelöst werden, und gewährleisten so eine sichere Fixierung während der gesamten Operation Sie bestehen aus chirurgischem Edelstahl und bieten hervorragende Korrosionsbeständigkeit, Festigkeit und Wiederverwendbarkeit bei vollständiger Autoklavierbarkeit .
Neben der Befestigung von Tüchern werden Backhaus-Klemmen gelegentlich auch zum Halten kleiner Knochenfragmente oder zur Befestigung von Hilfsgeräten durch Weichteilmanipulation in Notfällen oder in der Orthopädie verwendet.
