De Duplay Tenaculum Forceps is ontworpen voor het vastpakken en vasthouden van de baarmoederhals of het baarmoederweefsel tijdens gynaecologische ingrepen. Veelvoorkomende toepassingen zijn onder andere:
Inbrengen of verwijderen van een spiraaltje
Cervicale biopsie
Dilatatie en curettage (D&C)
Uterusmanipulatie tijdens een operatie
De sterke, puntige bekken zorgen voor een veilige grip en minimaal wegglijden van het weefsel, terwijl de lange handgrepen comfortabele controle bieden bij diepe toegang tot het bekken.
